Illinois Virtual School is a supplemental online program that operates in partnership with public, private, and home schools to offer educational opportunities to middle and high school students to reach their learning potential.  


IVS does not grant credit for courses taken, but through its partnerships with schools, allows students to earn credit from their local school for successfully completed IVS courses.



Illinois Virtual School is an Illinois State Board of Education program
administrated by Peoria County ROE 48.


IVS is recognized by the College Board and NCAA. IVS's CEEB Code is 140188.

    IVS Administrative Office Closed for Columbus Day, Oct 12

    The IVS Administrative Office in Edwards will be closed for observance of Columbus Day.  This closure does not impact student's ability to work on course work.  For questions and technical issues, please contact the help desk.
