Is Online Learning Right For You?
Students should realize that taking a course online requires personal discipline and good time management skills. Students may spend more time taking an online course than they typically devote to a traditional school class.
In order to participate in online courses, students need adequate keyboard skills and good written communication skills. Experience using email and a web browser is highly recommended. Students also need to be self-motivated. Students will need to stay on task, meet deadlines and pursue assistance for any technical problems that may occur. Students need to log in several times a week to keep up with what's going on in class.
Take this brief self-evaluation to determine if online learning is right for you!
Parent/Guardian Information
Once a student completes an application, an unique IVS username and password (or credentials) are emailed to both the student and each guardian. Please keep these on file.
Parents can use their credentials to log into our Student Information System to view student progress, grades, and attendance. Please use our help guides to assist you with these features.
