How to Enroll in IVS-PD

Step One: Create an IVS-PD Account

Step One is completed only once. You will need an email account to create the account and complete the application. Be sure to use email that is checked regularly.

Once the account is created and the application submitted, the IVS system will automatically send an email containing your credentials. Look in your inbox for an email from [email protected] Please keep these credentials on file.

Step Two: Request (and Pay) to Take an IVS-PD Course

You will first request a course, and then pay for the course through the ledger. PayPal is enabled to allow electronic payment of course fees. If you are enrolling in a free course, the course request will automatically change to enrolled and no fee will be entered into your ledger.

School PO

If the school is paying for the course, a school PO should be emailed to Danielle Brush Lewis at [email protected] containing the name of the participant and the selected course. The participant will be enrolled in the course, and an invoice will be sent to the school for payment.

Note: PD Participants will not have immediate access to a course once enrolled. There is a 12-24 hour delay between the time you register and enroll to the time you can access the course.

Step Three: Prepare Your Computer and Complete Orientation

Before you start your course, IVS highly recommends that new participants take the time to go through the Orientation to better prepare for successful completion of online courses.

In addition, take the time now to prepare your computer to ensure that you are using the recommended operating system and supported web browser, allowing pop-ups, and clearing your cache so content will be accessible.

Step Four: Access the Course

PD Participants will not have immediate access to a course once enrolled.  For self-paced courses, there is a 12-24 hour delay between the time you register and enroll to the time you can access the course.  For facilitated courses, you should start on the course start date if you registered at least one day before the scheduled start date.

Our course system and information snyc up once around noon and again around midnight. Once they sync, you should have access to your course.

  • If you click the Launch Course button and you receive an "unauthorized" message, you are trying to access the course too soon.  Try again after Noon or Midnight.
  • If you click the Launch Course button and it seems nothing happens, you need to enable pop-ups so that your course will open in a new tab.
