American History (Summer Only)

I have always loved history, especially the history of the United States. It was my favorite subject in school. When I started college, I took an Introduction to Education class and loved it so much I changed my major to teaching. It allows me to combine my love of teaching with my love for American history. One of my favorite historical places to visit in Illinois is New Salem near Springfield.

In addition to teaching, I am also the Coordinator of Professional Development, which allows me to work with all IVS teachers as well as educators in the entire state. I have an exciting job and am glad you're a part of it!
