Full-Class Implementation Model
Did you know over the past two years IVS has supported over 2,000 enrollments from near 25 partner schools within our Full-Class Implementation Model?
Many of these schools enrolled large amounts of students in a particular IVS course due to an unexpected loss of a teacher or because of the current teacher shortage crisis. Other partners choose to enroll multiple students because IVS offers a course which the local school does not have available. It affords the local school with a cost-savings benefit without having to staff a full-time teacher of a high demand toward a particular summer course which allows students to free up scheduling space during the academic year.

Fast Facts About the Full-Class Implementation Model

IVS will enroll all of the students in the same course section with one assigned IVS teacher. As a result, we may ensure all of the students enrolled from one school will have access to the same teacher which will improve the level of communication and support offered.
IVS has a full-time administrator who is responsible for working with the school to establish the full-class implementation including offering complimentary training for your students, local mentor, and ongoing support as needed.
Because we recognize your school may have an alternate Fall or Spring semester start date, we may be flexible and work with you to begin and end the course aligned more closely to your academic calendar.
Most schools choose to schedule ALL their students in the same class period and location such as a computer lab or study hall.
At this time, IVS will enroll all the students on the school’s behalf. We are working on updating our SIS so that school Registrars can enroll students in their own school-only sections.
If the school prefers, IVS may send periodic reports of individual and group progress. IVS is also available to share more information about the full-class implementation with your board or parents.
The cost for student enrollment is $240 per semester course.
Schools may choose whether to pay the cost directly to IVS or pass the tuition onto the student.
Students only need reliable Internet access. We encourage schools to provide students with a headset, particularly for our world language courses.
